History will come to life at the Battleship MissouriMemorial on Saturday, January 30,2016. America’slast battleship to open for free to Hawaii residents and Armed Forces community

WHAT:Living History Day at the Battleship Missouri

WHEN:Saturday, January 30, 2016
9:00 a.m. – 3:00p.m. 

WHERE:BattleshipMissouri Memorial
Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

COST: Free admission for kamaaina (Hawaiiresidents), members of the Armed Forces and Mighty Mo members with valid I.D.The event is open to the public.

ADMISSION: Visit the PearlHarbor Visitor Center to get tickets on the day of the event.

BASEACCESS:Complimentary round-trip shuttle service for the event will be offered from thePearl Harbor Visitor Center beginning at 8:00 a.m. for those without baseaccess.


PearlHarbor, HI– Historywill come to life at the Battleship Missouri Memorial during a day full offestivities for visitors of all ages to enjoy at Living History Day. 

Guests to theBattleship Missouri Memorial will see and experience first-hand a variety ofhistorical exhibits and activities that will be fun, entertaining, andeducational, including: 

  • Displays of military vehicles, memorabilia and weaponry 

  • Access to tour special areas of the Battleship Missouri, including the Captain’s     Cabin and the Radio Room 

  • Military musical bands

  • Oral history presentations 

  • Re-enactors in historical period dress and costumes

  • Static displays from active-duty military units

  • A vintage aircraft flyove
